Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) A Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification proves your skills on a particular Microsoft technology, such as the Windows operating system, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, or Microsoft Visual Studio.

Certification as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) means that the Technology Specialist in question is able to successfully implement, build, troubleshoot and debug specific Microsoft technology. A Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) has proven basic knowledge of the Microsoft Technologies in question. Certification as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist contains between one and three exams and it focuses on a specific Microsoft product or technology. All available MCTS certifications are listed in the overview below. The obligatory exam(s) and training course(s) to be taken are stated per product or technology. The MCTS certification does not address specific job profiles and skills.
